Modern, natural, bright

TORONTO FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

I’m a Toronto family photographer specializing in natural, lifestyle sessions that focus on real connection and everyday moments. I’ll document the laughter, the chaos, and the quiet in-between moments that make your family yours. Expecting parents can celebrate this chapter with a maternity session, while newborn sessions gently document those early days at home. If you’re looking for a family photographer whose work feels relaxed and true to life, I’d love to connect.

MATERNITY

Natural, Candid Photography FOR toRONTO FAMILIES

My goal is to make you feel at ease in front of the camera, capturing candid moments and everything in between. My photographs focus on movement and connection so your images feel effortless and honest.

Choosing the best family photographer is a personal choice so look around to see if my style is a fit for you. I take a lifestyle approach to photography, a mix between documentary and classic portraits. My style is bright and airy, with a modern, simple aesthetic.

Our whole family is just completely in love with the photos. And again, we were so impressed by not only the finished product, but also how great you were during the session. We can’t thank you enough.

Best Locations for Family Photos in Toronto

There are many great locations for family sessions but there’s more to it than just choosing a beautiful setting. I can recommend places that have a variety of backgrounds, have quieter spots within them and trees to filter the light. As a Toronto family photographer, some of my favourites include High Park, spots along the waterfront or ravine parks. I also know a few quieter, lesser-known spots. If you’re looking for something indoors, there are modern studios in the city available for rent.

Kira is by far the best photographer I have ever used. She has an amazing ability to always get the perfect photo (this can be quite tricky with my two busy toddler children). I am absolutely in love with her beautiful, light, airy, and natural photo sessions.

FAQs

Here are some of my most commonly asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What will our session be like?

Expect to have fun, laugh and play. My approach to photography is lifestyle - which is a mix between documentary and classic portraits. For the majority of our session, you'll be interacting with your family so we can get more authentic and less "posey" shots. My goal is to create images that feel relaxed and true to your family. And don't worry if you feel uncomfortable having your photo taken (I do!) or if your children don't like to sit still.  I'll provide direction to help your family feel natural in front of the camera.

Q. What should we wear?

Most importantly wear something you feel yourself in. Neutrals tend to look nice in photos but a soft pop of colour or two can also work nicely if you like colour. A tip is to try to coordinate your family's outfits, without being too "matchy-matchy".

Q. What if it rains during our photoshoot?

If the weather forecast is questionable, I will review the weather report and usually make a call 4 hours or so before the session. We will reschedule for a mutually agreeable future date in the case of rain. No worries if it's not a sunny day - cloudy days can actually make for great pictures!

Q. When is the best time for a session?

For outdoor sessions, I typically shoot in the early morning or close to sunset for softer, more flattering light. For indoor sessions, the best time is during the brighter daylight hours.

Q. What is your pricing?

I offer several digital package options. View pricing or reach out for further details and availability.
